Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

This blog post is about a song called “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. It is an extremely well known song, that is one of the strangest songs that I know. It is known by so many people, but is easy to follow; so many of these people know the words. Most of the people who listen to this song can sing every word, I even know some people who don’t usually listen to this music to be able to do this. It is about a lower class boy who kills a wealthy man. Throughout the song he is telling his mother what he did, and confessing. The other part if this song is the boy being put on trial, and the jury is trying to decide his fate. He sings about how his life doesn’t matter, because he will never do anything with it. He is a boy who has accepted that he will most likely die and is telling his mother that she shouldn’t be sad. The song is best known for how it is something that is called a rock opera. It varies between a rock ballad and opera style singing. This song is one of the first of its kind, and shows the great diversity of rock and roll. I like how the song is so different from other songs that it shows what this band is about. This song is slower, and is something that’s great to listen to when you are craving something way out there.
This song was written when some people thought that rock and roll music might just die out. I have been told that this song was made to show that rock and roll music could do anything. This song is amazing, and shows the skills of the musicians of that time. This is a song that can show people what can be done, and that others tell you have been told that it won’t happen, doesn’t mean that you can’t try. This song is something that can make a whole new type of music.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality
Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to
me, to me

Mama,
I just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger
now he's dead
Mama... life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mamaaaaa oooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all
the time
Goodbye, ev'rybody, I've got to go,
Got to leave you all behind and face the truth
Mamaaaaa oooh,
I don't want to die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

(Guitar solo)

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche! Scaramouche! will you do the
Fandango?!

Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening
me!
Galileo, Galileo
Galileo, Galileo
Galileo, Figaro - magnifico

I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity!
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go
Bismilah! No, we will not let you go
(Let him go!) Bismilah! We will not let you go
(Let him go!) Bismilah! We will not let you go
(Let me go) Will not let you go
(Let me go)(Never) Never let you go
(Let me go) Never let you go (Let me go) Ah
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia, let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me,
for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

So you think you can stop me and spit in my
eye?!?!
So you think you can love me and leave me to
die?!?!
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta
here!

(Guitar solo)

Nothing really matters, Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters to me...

Any way the wind blows...
